Kingston (Jamaica): American Sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson has received a one-month suspension after testing marijuana, the United States anti-doping body said on Friday, putting it aside from 100 meters in Tokyo even though he might still be able to run the relay event later.
The positive test came in the US Olympic trial last month where Richardson formed himself as a gold medal competitor by winning 100m in 10.86 seconds.

Richardson said in a NBC interview about the show today on Friday that the action came during the trial when he dealt with the news of his mother’s death.
