Noida: Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) finally got three bidders that need to be passed by the process to choose a company that will build the first phase of the AQUA channel extension from Noida to Greater Noida.

The Aqua line corridor 14.95km from the Noida 51 sector to Knowledge Park V in Greater Noida will have nine stations in total.

The first phase of the corridor was 9.6 km-long and would have five stations in sector 122, 123, Greater Noida 4, Ecotech 12 and Noida Greater sector 2.

The third round was deraved in December and was canceled in February this year.
Working on the AQUA line extension will begin in 2021.
Working on the Greater Noida corridor (sector 51 to the knowledge park 5) will be executed before two other extensions built.
“We have to defend the tender because we don’t get an adequate response.
The technical qualification of the bidder will be weighed,” Manoj Vajpayee, General Manager (Technical), NMRC, said.
