Jaisalmer: A 5-year-old boy was bitten by a snake and was taken to the Chauhatan hospital but the boy was dead because he did not get on time on Thursday night.
Accused negligence by doctors, family members and community people gathered in the hospital.
They refused to take the body and start the action of Dharna demanding a doctor.
Regarding information, Chauh Sdm and Sho reached the place.
Then, Chauhatan MLA reached the place and after talking with CMHO, two doctors Chauhatan PHC wore APO.
After this, family members agreed to take the body and end Dharna on Thursday, Chauhatan Resident Rishi Singh (5) was sleeping at his home when a snake biting him and family members took him to the hospital.
Family members alleged that they reached the hospital around 12am but the doctor was not there and even though he repeatedly called him he did not come.
After a general examination, family members were sent to a private hospital.
The family accused that the child cried in pain but the doctor did not reach.
The child died because he did not get timely care.
Family members start Dharna at the hospital.
Produce information, SDO Bhagirath Choudhary reached the hospital and persuaded the family.
Chauhatan Sho Bhuttaram and members of Zilla Parishad Roop Singh Rathore reached the hospital.
