New Delhi: Twitter’s micro blogging site on Saturday told the Delhi High Court that “in the final stage appointed a resident complaint officer.” Social networking sites also added that interim savings complaint officers attracted their nomination on June 21.
Previously, the High Court had asked Twitter to comply with the rules of new information technology (IT) for digital media if they had not yet lived.
New IT rules began to apply from February 25 this year and the center has given three months to each intermediary of social media, including Twitter, to obey them.
The three-month period gets more than May 25 but no officer designated by the company.
