Navi Mumbai: A 3-year-old boy and his parents died after their car had a collision with a container-loaded trailer on the Mumbai-Pune toll road, close to Khopoli, around 4:30 a.m.
on Thursday.
The car was driven by Chettiar Jocimm (36), a resident of Vasai.
His wife Luiza (35) and the son of the jeith with him in the car.
Assistant Inspector Satish Aswar from the police station Khopopoli said that the trailer collided with the car on the slopes down, causing a small vehicle to hit a truck.
The three car residents were discarded and the vehicle was burned.
The driver of the container, Ramesh Nikam, was hospitalized with a sad injury.
