With NMC NOD, NCI Runs Vax Camp with BJP

Written by news2in

Nagpur: Contrary to the guidelines set by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (Mohfw), Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) issued an objection certificate that enables the National Cancer Institute (NCI) – Private Hospital – to run Covid Vaccination Camp – in Middle School Playgrounds New England at Nagar Congress.
Former CM Devendra Fadnavis, who is the MLA area, inaugurated the center on June 26.
Against the NOC Spirit, the South-West Nagpur Unit BJP registered a new voter when running a vaccination camp.
Visits to the center, which is specifically intended for those aged between 18 and 30 years, reveals violations of rules that must be observed when running a vaccination center.
Covid-19 guidelines such as social distance, wearing masks etc.
are also not followed.
According to the ministry guidelines, private hospitals can vaccinate in the center or workplace of the company or industrial private company.
Inoculation can also be done in schools / colleges, housing communities, old houses, community centers etc.
but only for parents and different people.
A NMC official told TII that NCI bought a covishield dose directly from the Institute of India Serum Institute (SII).
“Hospitals, who have authorization to vaccinate in Her Jamthera Hospital, submit permission to investigate people who meet the requirements in school.
Therefore, the NOC is issued.” At school, NCI staff provide a dose to beneficiaries in two classrooms converted to Vaccination room.
BJP activists can be seen by people who guide people, collect documents, register, etc.
BJP flag and banner with photos of PM Narendra Modi, MP City Nitin Gadkari and Mla Devendra Fadnavis have been prepared from the school entrance to the classroom.
The counter has been set for new voter registration right inside Shamiana which serves as a vaccination center.
Sitting on the stage is Netas BJP without a mask.
A large number of people gathered near Shamiana for registration and vaccination did not follow the distance of Covid.
NMC Commissioner of the additional city of Ram Joshi told TI that the NOC was issued for NCI and not in any political party.
“I have to check the distance and other conditions that are followed,” he said.
Director NCI Shailesh Joglekar said the school was chosen as the center so that more people could be vaccinated.
“We want to vaccinate as many people as possible.
We have arranged the camp along with Sevankur NGOs,” he added.
Jogcekar does not comment on BJP’s active participation in the camp.
Corporator and BJP President South-West Nagpur Kishor Wankhede said the party “vaccinated with the help of NCI”.
In Covid’s violation, Wankhede said when the camp got a very large response, “it’s hard to obey the guidelines”.
“We have planned a camp for the 18-30s but people from all age groups brake in the middle,” he added.
Corporate Corporator Pressurhe said BJP “doing politics in vaccination is very unfortunate”.
“The party must ensure sufficient stock and invest it all through NMC.
NCI must buy a dose for everyone who qualifies in the city and hand them over to NMC.
What they do now is trying to get the political mileage from vaccination and pandemics,” he said.
