The 16-year-old noida student Satyam Mehta is among certain children from all over the world, given a crossroad with Diana’s award this year.
The annual award was invited by a charity established in Diana’s memory, Putri Wales, given to young people who tried to change the world to be better.
Satyam is recognized by the award jury for his work in empowering rural investment, sustainable e-waste management, and promoting menstrual management and better cleanliness among different age group women in all parts of society.
This award has protected the two Prince William and Harry, two Putri Diana’s sons.
Satyam, an Amity Noida International School student, has established a rural investment, an initiative aimed at solving one of the biggest problems faced by Indian farmers: lack of financial literacy.
The application utilizes financial strength to empower and allow users to invest money through SIPS in various asset classes strategically.
In addition, Satyam also operates Junkguards, an initiative to overcome the problem of large electronic waste.
This initiative has collected more than 700 kg of e-waste and utilizes it towards sustainable reuse.
The third social business – Pravahkriti – promotes health and cleanliness of better menstruation and advocate for periods of periods.
Expressed his happiness when he received the award, Satyam said, “I feel that life is not worthy of being undertaken if someone does not live for others.
