Nagpur: Audio clip leaked between one Irfan and Jameel highlighted the cut-throat competition among the top gangsters to get control of the multi-crore livestock smuggling racket that developed in Central India.
Competition shows Nagpur has become a hub for trade, connecting livestock smugglers throughout Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Telangana.
The Irfan gangster was heard in more than 9 minutes the leak audio clip had verbal saliva with Jameel, revolving around the competition for their livestock smuggling.
The clip, which was shared by Ti with Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar, also contained the mention of the shooting incident on Jameel, which he heard responsibility to Irfan.
Irfan, which is known to help smugglers of livestock on ‘protection money’, sounded threatening Jameel because it leaked to the police, the movement of the truck members of the gang transporting livestock to the illegal slaughterhouse.
