Hyderabad: With the theater was not opened even though the government lifted the ranks on June 20, Head of Secretary Somesh Kumar on Monday called for a meeting with representatives of the film industry to ask what prevented them from reopening the cinema.
Representatives of Telugu’s film room from the Telangana Chamber of Commerce and film explained to the main secretary that various problems were postponed with the government.
“One of the main sources of income for theater is parking costs that accounts for 40 percent of revenue.
The government must allow at least the minimum amount as a parking fee,” Telangana State Commerce’s Church told Chieg Secretary.
Secretary of Honor of Sunil Narang’s room also explained how the cinema had exploded because of Covid locking both last year and this year.
According to M Vijendar Reddy, the owner of the theater and former president of the Telangana Chamber of Commerce, Secretary of the Chief has called for a meeting with the film industry and three representatives from the Telugu Chamber of Commerce and three of the Telangana Chamber of Commerce attended IT.
“The various problems related to the industry are explained to the Secretary of the Chief by members who attend the meeting.
It is also explained that it will not be profitable to release new films only in Telangana and that the film industry is waiting for open opening in Andhra Pradesh too,” Vijendar Reddy said.
The film industry urges the state government to reduce GST conditions, remission vacancies for the cinema room in Telangana because the theater is closed for a long time so they do not need to pay property taxes over the past two years.
The state government was also asked to reduce film shooting rates in various locations.
Among those who attended a meeting with the Secretary of the Chief was the Daggubati Suresh Babu filmmaker, Dil Raju producer and others.
