Lucknow: Although covid-induced chefs, state revenues rose by Rs 2,129 Crore in June this year compared to the same month the previous year.
Up to get revenue Rs 11,164 Crore in June 2021, against Rs 9,035 Crore in June 2020.
Finance Minister Suresh Khanna said that the state had obtained Rs 3,482 Crore as GST, an increase in Rs 2,939 Crore since last year.
The government also obtained Rs 2,033 Crore as VAT this June, compared with 1,522 crore rs in June last year.
In excise, the government obtained RS 2,989 Crore this year compared to RS 2,755 Crore last year.
The stamp and registration produced the government Rs 1,825 Crore as against 1,048 crore rs in the same period last year.
Similarly, in June 2021, the income from transportation was Rs 591 Crore against Rs 433 Crore in June 2021.
However, mining income fell Marginal – RS 243 Crore this June against RS 337 Crore last year.
Meanwhile, tax revenue in the first quarter of 2021-22 was Rs 30,156 Crore against the target of Rs 44,826 Crore, reaching 67.3% of the target, especially because the second wave of Covid-19 which destroyed the country in April and May.
The non-tax revenue target in the same period is Rs 6,068 Crore where the State obtained Rs 1,953 Crore.
The government obtained RS 16,557 Crore as GST and VAT this year until June, with the target of Rs 22,813.
It has reached 84.5% of its target to June for PPN collection.
The first quarter income in excise has fallen shortly from the target RS 11,953 Crore with an income of Rs 8,368 Crore.
Revenue from stamps and registration in the first quarter is the total Rs 3,669 Crore against the target of Rs 6,296 Crore.
The state won the 1,459 crore Rs from transportation in the first quarter of the year which was less than the target crore RS 2,361.
