Hyderabad: The Telangana Government may be interested in seeing the IT / ITES sector noting all employees to the office from September, but the company is not ready to go all the pig with R2O (back to office).
Delaying them is fear of the third potential wave and increased friction rate (pegged around 20%) which can make it difficult to solve whip employees and flocks back to the office.
“Currently only about 7-8% of employees who work from the office (WFO).
Before the two-hit wave, the industry expects about 30% of staff in the office in July, but now it is expected to only 10%,” said Hyderabad Enterprises Association (Hysea) President Bharani Kumar Aroll.
He said while smaller players showed interest in WFOs, most of the big ones were not interested in encouraging employees because of this fear.
