From them, 200 restaurants have now turned off the dining service permanently due to restrictions.
“There needs to be quick help.
We have demanded that all restaurants and bars be allowed to operate starting at 11am to 15:00 to 3:30 p.m.
this will bring at least several businesses.
After a time limit of 4pm for dinner service and just takeaways.
On weekends, around 200 restaurants closed the dining service at Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad because they could not support it, “Ganesh Shetty, President of Restaurant Pune and Amerigo (Prague)), was told toi.
Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad Civic Bodies revised restrictions on the last week of June.
“If we are allowed to operate at least for a few hours at night, even at a capacity of 50%, there will be several businesses.
Many of us have called back our staff after relaxation, but now find it difficult to pay them after restrictions,” said Kishor Satpotdar, Prague Secretary General, said.
The bar owner and restaurant at the Koregaon Park told Tii that he had got four employees from West Bengal, but now they did not work.
“I can’t send them back anymore or they will never return.
I have fully stopped the dinner service because this frequent change caused confusion and cost a lot of money,” he said.
Shetty said that as soon as they opened the outlet, the landlord began asking for rent, they needed to pay salaries, electricity and water bills.
“So, there are no benefits in the current situation,” Shetty said.
