Menon, representing India at the Optimistic World Screen Championship which is ongoing 2021 that occurred at Riva del Garda, Italy, said an official on Tuesday.
Yachtsman who promised 15 years was the son of a naval officer, Commodore Prashant C.
Menon and had sailed since the age of 10.
Besides Adhvait Menon, another Indian who participated in the event (June 30-10) including Eklavya Batham, Vishwanadh Padideala and Two Priya Jhansi girls, Vaishnavi VeeFivamasham, compete with contestants from all over the world.
ADHVAIT, which sailed in the company and laser grade sailing vessel, was the youngest participant in the 2020 YAI national championship and had taken part in several state and national events and bag awards.
Taking his training with a naval sailing team at the Indian Naval Watermanship Training Center, here, Adhvait is also a diligent runner.
He topped the Navy Mumbai Half Marathon 2019 in the Under-14 Boys’ category.

Competition, which began on June 30, will
