Garbage LiftingLludhiana: To ensure the garbage transportation work continues in the city, city corporations are expected to increase the cost of tip contractors.

After forming a sub-committee, the Mayor of Balarn Sandhu said they would apply his decision.
They will apply their decisions.
The panel will now send its last report to the Mayor.
Senior Deputy Mayor of Shyam Sunder Malhotra said, “We have no choice but to increase the cost of tip because we do not want garbage to stop.
Besides that, if we hire a new contractor after floating fresh tenders, the tip fee will be above Rs 1,000.
We require contractors for Lift waste from the point of collecting secondary garbage for at least one year, where static compactors will begin at all points.
After that, the company that will install the compactor will be responsible for the appointment of waste too.
We try to find a solution to start processing waste at Tajpur Road Plant Also.
“The Civic Agency has served a notification of the A2Z waste management company after his contract was stopped in December.
Since February 4, waste processing at Tajpur Road Dump has stopped and the waste lifting work is given to new companies.
The new contractor has demanded an increase in tipping costs due to an increase in diesel interest rates.
He threatened to stop the removal of garbage on June 30.
Since then, the authorities are busy completing the revision of the tip fee.
