Navi Mumbai: The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) on Wednesday sealed two shops and collected a fine of each Rs 50,000 in five restaurants and bars for FLOUTING Covid-19 rules.
With three-level restrictions throughout Maharashtra to control the surge in Covid-19, NMMC has strictly taken action in stores and companies that lightly norms Covid-19.
Shops and other places are allowed to keep open only until 4pm on weekdays.
In a statement, NMMC stated that the action was taken on companies that maintained open shops despite releasing their warning and 10,000 Rs fines when they violated the rules for the first time.
They were ordered below 51 to 60 of the 2005 Disaster Management Law and part 188 of the Kuhap Palan India.
Likewise, the fine of each RS 50,000 has been restored from Ramesh Restaurant and Bar, The King Bar, which remains open at night at the Janata Turbashhe Market.
Also, the special alert team of the division of the belipur has taken action against the Star of City Bar, Aarush Restaurant and Bar in Sector 15, and Meghraj and Bar Restaurants in Sector 11, and collect a fine of RS 50,000 respectively.
According to orders issued by NMMC, 10,000 Hospital penalty will be collected in stores and Rs 50,000 in restaurants, pubs and bars if they continue to do operational post at 4pm.
If the company is found to violate the rules for the second time, they will be closed for seven days.
And if the rules are rejected for the third time, they will be asked to stay close to the pandemic end.
The Commissioner of Abhijeet City Bangar appealed to work fully to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus and was urged to follow Covid-19 norms.
