Producer – Director of Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Elder Brother VIR Chopra died yesterday because Covid-19.
He has worked with Vidhu in films such as ‘Munna Bhai M.B.’s.’, ‘Broken Horses’, ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’ and ‘3 Idiots’.
We have learned that VIR Chopra died on July 5.
The producer was infected with a virus when he was in Maldives.

Reliance Hospital, for 21 days.
He is stored under the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
He died on the 5th night and was cremated on the 6th.
VIR Chopra plays the role of a script doctor on many Vidhu Vinod Chopra projects.
For example, during the ‘Parinda’ script, when Vidhu shared the first draft with VIV, he liked the first half but did not like the second half, so working on his advice Vidhu changed the script and it made all the differences in the current classic film.
VIr is the husband of the voice designer Namita Nayak Chopra and actor’s father Abhay Chopra aka Vicky Chopra.
