Srinagar: The day after the restriction commission held a deliberation with political parties in Srinagar, members of the panel interacted with politicians from various parties, including the National Conference (NC), Congress and BJP, at Pahalgam in Anangnag Regency on Wednesday.
While representatives from several parties emphasized holding free and fair restrictions, BJP demanded a reservation for the SC and ST categories, and the addition of a single assembly chair from the AnanTnag district.
According to officials, the limitation panel held a discussion with the parties at the Pahalgam Club.
The former Altaf legislator Ahmed Kaloo, who led the NC delegation to the Pahalgam club, told reporters that the party supports the perspective that has been presented before the commission by their senior official in Srinagar.
“We also present a memorandum and urge the commission that it would be better if J & K has been given full interests before being canceled.
Nevertheless, we urge the panel to conduct exercises for free and fair restrictions without injustice for districts or any area,” he said.
From Congress, the delegation led by Gulzar Ahmed Wani met with a panel.
Wani said they reaffirmed the memorandum submitted to the commission by his party seniors in Srinagar.
“Whatever people who are worried, we told the same commission.
We also emphasized that the state was first restored so J & K got the elected government,” Wani said.
Party J & K APNI Secretary General Rafi Ahmed Mir led his party delegation and raised their point of view.
“First of all, we did not expect that there would be restrictions until 2026 because the exercise was frozen.
But now political development has occurred, we decided not to stay away and reveal our point of view,” he said, added: “We emphasize that whatever decision is The Commission will be taken transparently, and if it happens, and if it happens, and if it happens, it will be a measure of good self-confidence.
