Pune: The number of patients recovering from Covid-19 increased to 1,555 in the Pune Metropolitan area (PMR) on Wednesday, exceeding his new infection (1,533) for that day.
During the last two days in a row, the area had recorded a three-digit daily case and respective recovery.
The testing of the area also increased to 22,675 on Wednesday from 15,564 on Tuesday.
Among the samples tested, more than 9,800 samples were tested in rural areas, followed by 7,026 at Pune City Limits and 5,823 in the Pimpri Chinchwad City area.
Cases in the PMC area increased to 432 in the last 24 hours, while PCMC and the rural part each added 320 and 781 new infections.
The PMC area records less recovery than new cases.
271 patients were repatriated in PMC limits on Wednesday.
The total positive case in the region increased above 10.59 lakh on Wednesday night, while recovery counting reached 10.31 lakh.
Active kasel in this region continues above 10,000 even on Wednesday.
A report released by Bhagwan Bhagwan District Health Officers stated that the PMC, PCMC, rural and Cantonese areas collectively recorded 10,122 active patients until Wednesday night.
The next report stated that death in this region fell to one digit on Wednesday.
Nine patients gave up on infection in PMR, which included six deaths recorded in the PMC limit, two deaths in the PCMC area and one mortality in the rural part.
