Nainital: The days after the Uttarakhand High Court stayed at Char Dham Yatra and asked the ritual to pass, the court on Wednesday took the exception by submitting the public advocate (AG) that “Shastras might not allow livestreaming from rituals”.

Ag has submitted a decision about enabling Livestreaming to be taken by the Devasthanam Board – which manages the temple in the state – but added that according to some Imam Char Dham Hindu Shastras did not allow Livestreaming rituals.

We cannot go beyond the constitution and the law below it …

We are not a democratic country ruled by the Shastras government.
“Even in the last hearing, AG has made similar shipment and benches have said that because our ancestors did not even realize the development of the technology that would be Allows Livestreaming, the possibility “Shastras prohibits livestreaming religious ceremonies at all impossible”.
In his trial on Wednesday, Chairman Justice added that he had read Shastras and there was no place they forbade such technology.
The court said that if the Devasthanam Board decided not to allow Livestreaming they must explain the line where Shastra forbade the use of the technology.
Ag has been asked to notify the court about the decision taken by the Board at the next audience on July 28.
Previously, the state district has enabled residents in Rudraprayag Regency, Chamoli and Uttarkashi to visit their temple of each district.

The court then ordered a four-week stay in Yatra, called the cabinet decision “arbitrary and outrageous”.
The state government has challenged orders in the APEX court.
