There were episodes where WhatsApp users lost access to their own account when they shared an six-digit confirmation code obtained on the stage with somebody claiming to be in the organization.

The business is apparently working with a feature that aims to handle such frauds.

As per a record from WABeta, WhatsApp is operating on a brand new attribute named Flash Telephone which will permit users to automatically confirm their telephone when they attempt to log in to WhatsApp.

The Flash Call attribute will need user’s consent to get their phone’s telephone log, and, it’ll automatically confirm if they’ve received the phone to provide access to their own WhatsApp account.

This attribute was seen at the Android beta variant 2.21.11.7 of this program.

According to the screenshots from this record, Flash Calls will probably be an optional attribute.

This means it’s up to users to choose if they would like to provide WhatsApp access for their telephone log in Flash Calls or never.

In general, Flash Calls appear to be a great idea.

WhatsApp in its own also has cautioned users of these scams in which cybercriminals promising to be out of the business telephone or send messages to customers and ask them to discuss OTP.

These callers typically frighten users by stating they want it to confirm their accounts and it will likewise be deactivated.
