New Delhi: A 55-year-old man died and the other was injured by beautiful after being beaten by a taxi in the Daryaganj Delhi area on Thursday morning, police said.
The police were told about the incident near Sabzi Bathing in Daryaganj at around 3:45 a.m.
According to the police, the accident occurred when the driver checked the navigation route on his cellphone.
While one of the victims, Kallu, was declared dead by Doctor Lok Jai Prakash Narayan, another, Kanjhi, had been treated in the hospital ICU with a head injury.
The vehicle driver, Sachin (25), a resident of Mahendragarh Regency in Haryana, has been arrested and the car was confiscated from the point of the accident, police said.
