Hyderabad: Hyderabad police recorded a case against the Congress’ Chief Telangana Revanth Reddy and other party leaders because they took a rally without permission on Wednesday.
Rally was held on the opportunity for Reddy who was responsible at Gandhi Bhavan, party headquarters.
Reddy has taken a general meeting with his supporters after offering prayers at Pedamma Temple in Jubilee Hills and has reached Gandhi Bhavan after passing several busy areas including Nampally where he stopped to give prayer in Dargah Youngfain.
Rally has led to taffic jam in several places in Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Khairatabad, Lakdi Ka Pul, Basheerbagh, Moazzam Jahi Market, and surrounding areas, causing severe discomfort for people.
Bazaar Police Begum ordered a case against Reddy, as well as a member of Parliament from Malkajiri and the President of the State Congress of Anjan Kumar Yadav and others.
The event was marked by a large celebration by the party.
The leaders of various parts of the country have dropped on Gandhi Bhavan, where public meetings are also organized.

Congress leaders were ordered under various parts of the Indian Criminal Code (IPC), including assembly that violated the law and public interference.
The leaders were also ordered due to violations of disaster management actions because the Covid protocol was not followed, a police officer said.
