Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 731 new Covid-19 cases and 4 deaths on Thursday even when the number of active cases in the country decreased to 11,206.
The total count of cases from the start of the pandemic last year, stood at 6.29,785 and the death toll was 3,714.
The number of active detention zones in the state fell to 35.
There are currently no active micro detention zones in Hyderabad while Mahabubabad with 11 and Bhadadri Kothagudem with 7 micro detention zones have the majority of active detention zones in the state.
A total of 993 patients were declared recovered on Thursday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6.14,865.
Case Fatality Rate (CFR) established at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate increased to 97.63 percent now.
So far 79.8 percent of the overall cases in this country have asymptomatic while 20.2 percent have symptomatic.
On Thursday, 1,02,761 samples were tested for novel Coronavirus.
Telangana has now completed the testing of 1.94 crore samples and has reached 5.23 lakh testing sample per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 80 new cases on Thursday, while Medchal Malkajgiri adjacent to 30 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 37 and Sanga Reddy recorded 10 cases, continuing a decline in trends around the city of Hyderabad.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Peddapalli, Bhadadri Kothagudem and Manceriyal saw more cases.
