Ahmedabad: The sale of compressed natural gas (CNG) in Gujarat has risen again and even exceeds the pre-covid level.
Soaring gasoline and diesel prices, demanding growth after the sidewalk easing imposed because of the second wave of Covid-19 and the addition of new stations by the city gas distribution company (CGD) has pushed CNG sales.
Limited Gujarat Gujarat Gas Limited (GGL) currently records CNG sales of 13 lakh kilograms (kg) per day throughout the country, which is 8% higher than the average daily sales of 12 lakh kg in March 2020.
