Dhaka: At least 52 people were killed and more than 50 others were injured in a large fire broken at a six-story juice factory outside the capital of Bangladesh Dhaka, according to media reports on Friday.
The fire broke around 5 pm on Thursday at the Shezan Juice factory at Rupganjangjang, according to fire officials.
Allegedly the fire came from the ground floor of the building and spread quickly due to chemicals and plastic bottles.
Fifty-two people have died and more than 50 others were injured in the fire, Dhaka Tribune reported.
Some workers jumped from the building to escape from the awesome fire, he said.
Eighteen fire extinguisher units struggled to extinguish the fire in the construction of the Hashem Foods Limited factory.

Of the many missing, the identity of 44 lost workers was confirmed, the newspaper said.
Workers and relatives who were saved alleged that the front gate and just out of the factory remained locked when the fire.

Deputy Director of the Narayanganj District Fire Service Abdullah Al Arefin said it would take time to fully control the fire.
“Until the fire is watered, it is impossible to say exactly how much damage happens and the cause of the fire,” he added.
The Five Member Probe Committee has been formed by the district government to see the incident.
