Nagpur: Deputy Commissioner of Development of Skills, Employment and Entrepreneurship Department of Sunil Kalbande, 55, was arrested with the State Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) while accepting RS25,000 bribes from senior officers to ensure promotions and posts in Chandrapur.
Kalbande studied has called Officers, posted in the office of the Assistant Commissioner of the Development of Skills, Employment and Entrepreneurship in Chandrapur, demanding a number of bribes.
He convinced officers that he would be promoted as a junior officer in the department and also the post would be in the same office in Chandrapur where he served at this time.
The senior officer approached the ACB office and filed a complaint against Kalbande after he was trapped in a trap.
