Hyderabad: Floor by Red Carpet Treatment of the Telangana Government after alleged abuse by the Kerala government, the Kitex Gianx Clothing group on Friday announced an investment of Rs 1,000 Crore in Telangana.
The company announced investment phase-1 in preparing clothing units in Textile Taman Kakatiya Mega (KMTP) in Warangal for the next two years.
Investment is scheduled to produce around 4,000 jobs.
Telangana came out of all stops at the moment that had never been heard from seducing exercises which included renting a special flight to fly in the Kitex class team led by the Chair and Managing Director of Sabu M Jacob from Kochi to Hyderabad.
The five-member team held a one-to-one meeting with the Telangana Industrial Minister KT Rama Rao and Top Industrial Department officials such as the Main Secretary Jayesh Ranjan.
This includes a three-hour marathon meeting with KTR on Friday afternoon where he told them about state government policies, including the Tsipass window cleaning system, and Telangana’s capacity.
The Kitex team is then flown to Warangal in a helicopter.
Telangana State Infrastructure Infrastructure (Tsic) Deputy Chair & Managing Director of EV Narasimha Reddy personally accompanied them and gave them a guided tour of KMTP 1,200 hectares.
Special care also included a complicated lunch and dinner held by KTR and the Department of Industry’s team at a five-star hotel opposite the office of the Chair of the Kelangana Office of the Office of K Chandrasekhar Rao.
“Kithex officials said they were impressed with the Swift and Effective response from the Telangana government.
They said it showed the government’s commitment to attract investment to the state and that they had not received a good response from any state,” said a Telangana government official.
Biggie Kerala-based clothing was cleaned by several states after the CMD alleged that he was “attacked like an animal” by the Government of Kerala and announced that he was attracting an investment in Rs 3,500 Crore, but Telangana stole March aggressively and a profitable movement of proactive investors.
The Group has been in Loggerhead with the Kerala Government for the past or more after the government carried out several inspections and raids on the units, called companies as harassment.
