Patna: In the midst of rumors about the State President of RJD Jagdanand Singh resigned from his position, the party officially released a statement on Friday, denying the development and blaming JD (U) for it.
Singh, on the other hand, refused to comment on this problem.
“I can’t answer all the questions,” Singh sounded told the media people.
State spokesman RJD Chitranjan Gagan wrote on an instant messaging platform that rumors about Singh’s resignation did not have a base.
“Even Jagdanand Singhji has denied rumors like that,” he wrote.
Another spokesman, Mritunjay Tiwari, accused JD (U) to create controversy.
“There is a big struggle that happened at JD (U).
Everyone realizes it.
To divert the attention of those from their inner struggles, the party planted this fake news,” Tiwari added.
Asked about the opposition leader at the State Assembly Tejashwi Prasad Yadav left for Delhi on Friday, said Tiwari, “Tejashwiji’s family currently lives in Delhi.
We all know how important it is for a son to take care of his sick father.
His visit has nothing to do with politics.
“However, a senior RJD official said Singh had previously expressed his desire to resign from the position of the President of the Party of State after the conclusion of the assembly.
Meanwhile, the BJP National Secretary (OBC wing) Nikhil Anand has described RJD as a ‘one family’ party where senior leaders are only insulted.
“Remember how Ramchandra Purbeji was not respected and made to withdraw from the position of President of State.
Even senior leaders such as the late Raghuvansh Prasad Singh and Shivanand Tiwari have been respected,” he said.
