Wrestler’s murder: Olympian Sushil Kumar arrested by Delhi Police in Mundka

NEW DELHI: Wrestler Sushil Kumar was arrested by Delhi Police in Mundka early Sunday in connection with the murder of Prior Global wrestler Sagar Dhankar Within Chhatrasal Stadium at North- West Delhi.

He had been about the run for over a fortnight.

Kumar’s partner was detained too.

Authorities have discovered that the battle happened on a flat owned by Kumar at Model Town where the deceased wrestler had formerly been residing.

It was corroborated in a movie taken during the brawl where Kumar is seen attacking Dhankad.

According to the authorities, the deceased wrestler, 23-year-old Sagar Dhankad, utilized to live from the apartment in Model Town that’s possessed by Kumar.
