Hyderabad: With a low pressure area formed at Bay of Bengal, Southwest Monsoon has been active for Telangana because several districts receive heavy rain since Sunday morning.
The Hyderabad and the surrounding district witnessed the rain since morning affected normal life.
Vehicle traffic is discarded out of equipment in several parts of Telangana when the road is flooded with rainwater.
Hyderabad traffic police urge pedestrians and warn the driver to drive carefully.
The police also suggested pedestrians not to stand under a tree or near the electric pole.
Very heavy rainfall occurs in remote places in Nirmal District and Nagar Kurnool and heavy rainfall occur in several places in Badradri Kothagudem, Karimnagar District and in remote places in the Siddipet District, Wanaparthy, Mahabubabad and Jogulamba Gadwal.
The Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) has warned that heavy rains are so heavy likely to occur in remote places in Nirmal, Nizamabad, Rajanna Sircilla, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Jangaon and Siddipet on Sunday and Monday.
IMD has estimated heavy rain in Adamanabad, Kumaram Bheem, AsifaBad, Mancherial, Jagtial, Karimnagar, Peddapally, Jayashankar, Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Warangal (rural), Warangal (Urban), Mahabubnagar Regency.
Lightning storms accompanied by flash are likely to occur in isolated places in many Telangana districts.
It issued a red warning for several districts between 8:30 a.m.

Nagar Kurnool records 12 cm rainfall, Burgampadu and Aswapuram in Bhadradi Kothagudem 10 cm respectively.
