Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 465 new Covid-19 cases and four deaths on Sunday, rose below the 500 sign for the first time since the second wave peaked.
The number of active cases in this country reaches 10,316.
The total number of cases from the beginning of last year’s pandemic stood at 6.31,683 and the death toll was 3,729.
The number of active detention zones in the country decreases to 32.
At present, there are no active micro detention zones in Hyderabad while Mahabubabad with nine and Bhadadri Kothagudem with seven micro detention zones have the majority of active detention zones in the state.
869 patients were declared recovered on Sunday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6.17,638.
The case fatality rate (CFR) is at 0.59% while the recovery rate has increased to 97.77% now.
So far, 79.8% of the total cases in the country have asymptomatic while 20.2% have been flexible.
On Sunday, 65,607 samples were tested, down from more than 1 lakh test every day.
Telangana has now completed the testing of 1.97 crore samples and has reached 5.30 lakh testing sample per million populations.
GHMC recorded 70 new cases on Sundays.
