Nagpur: This city only enrolled 6 Covid cases on Sunday.
The last time this low number was recorded was 400 days ago.
With 6,883 tests carried out, the daily test rate (TPR) was 0.09%.
However, restrictions will continue in the city from Monday because the state government has not made a decision on the Regional Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) which is looking for relaxation until 8pm, not at 4pm.
This is a second case in one digit during the first and second wave peak.
On June 19, eight was tested positively.
In accordance with data on Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC), the last six was tested positive on June 6, 2020.
Then, only 84 tested and TPR was 7.14%.
The district has 16 cases from 8,265 tests (0.19% TPR).
Nine came from the countryside (1,382 tests, 0.65%).
One of them is from other districts.
The district weekly TPR continues to be under 1%.
Citing 0.46% of the weekly TPR district in the week ended July 8, 0.68% Oxygen bed residence and 150 active cases on July 4, DDMA president and collector have wanted an important and not important closure time for 8 nights and 10 restaurants PM.
Permissions are also sought after back offline meetings from various bodies with a capacity of 50%.
Toi is the first to report about the proposal on July 10.
The only change in the limit from Monday is takeaways / parcels from restaurants that are permitted after 16:00 and outdoor sports activities get an additional slot starting at 18:00.
Dr.
Nitin Shinde’s disease specialist told TOI that it was not necessary that the case would increase after restrictions were appointed.
“Waves have a pattern.
Many depend on the immune population, coverage of vaccination and development of variants.
All third waves in the world usually arrive after four to five months of the second wave.
Applicable limits can drop to a certain extent,” he said.
