Covid-19 Spike: Modi to interact with the First Minister of the United States on Tuesday

New Delhi: After concern for the high level of Covid-19 in the northeastern countries, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with eight countries’ main ministers on Tuesday to discuss situations in their territory and steps to control infection.
Even when the overall weekly weekly front minister has dropped to 2.32%, most of the states in the northeastern region have many districts with the level of participation above 10%.
Arunachal Pradesh led the list with 10 districts above the 10% petitivity rate, while Manipur had nine, Meghalaya six, Assam and Sikkim had four each, Tripura had three, Mizoram had two, while Nagaland had one district with more than 10%.
Sustainable high infection rates in certain countries including those in the region ne and increased expenses in Kerala and Maharashtra also have an impact on the level of decline that has slowed over the past three weeks with new daily cases that stagnate around 40,000.
This center was worried because similar trends were witnessed before the second wave hit when cases began to rise with countries such as Maharashtra, Gujarat, Punjab and Kerala.
The meeting will take place through video conferencing at 11 o’clock in the morning.
Countries that will be part of the meeting are Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram.
Representatives from the Ministry of Health, Niti Aayog, the Ministry of Home and other related ministries will also be present at the meeting, an official said.
Although there is a stable decline in the overall Covid-19 burden throughout the country, the northeastern region has become a cause of concern, as is Kerala, because the number of cases rises or does not fall in line with national trends.
Cases fell in Maharashtra but the infection remained stubborn in the western part of the state.
With a total of 37,154 new cases reported from all over the country on Sunday, the total active case in the country stood around 4.50 lakh cases.
