Nagpur: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Friday asked Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) to submit planning, expansion, and beauty work from the road proposed in front of the train station to Mahametro.
After a review of various projects, MP City expressed disappointment too from delays in the work of the train station expansion because the existing flyover, which was intended to be destroyed.
“At present, there is no room for expansion.
And besides the elder, more space is needed for project expansion.
NMC needs to rehabilitate shop owners under the thumb in front of the Tekdi Ganesh Temple and provide it soil or money instead.
The corporation has signed a rental agreement 30 years with them.

If the shop owner will be deleted now, they must be compensated, “Gadkari said.
The meeting was attended by Commissioner of NMC Radhakrishnan B, Mahametro’s Brajesh Dixit, Chairman of Nit Manojkumar Suryavanshi, Ravindra Thakre collector and officials from various departments.
Some officials suggest that memorandum understanding must be pressed between trains, NMC and PWD for the project.
