Coimbatore: A driver who works for a private hospital in Sidakalur, who married last week, committed suicide by hanging at his residence on Sunday.
Police identify it as P Ganeshan, 27, Pillalyar Kovil Street in Saanallur.
“He married a nurse who worked at the hospital on July 7 after he married Ganeshan, his ex-girlfriend, native Namakkal, suicide on Friday.
The woman, who came to know about death, became depressed and told Ganeshan about the incident .
Ganeshan who depressed committed suicide by hanging on Sunday night, “said a police officer.
Police Santanallur enrolled the case and sent the body to Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital for Postmortem.
It was handed over to the family on Monday afternoon.
