Mumbai: Maharashtra Maritime Board (MMB) has agreed to submit the Area of the Carter Road Bandra area to BMC for its maintenance.
Formal handover is likely to take place in the next few days.
“MMB will submit a Promenade Carter Road to BMC so it can be maintained because it is one of the most popular Mumbai open spaces.
MMB and BMC have agreed to how they will share income,” said Aslam Shaikh, the Minister of Port and Fisheries, who controlled MMB.

BMC must appoint a full-time dedicated agent to maintain pedestrians and also ensure it remains free encroachment.
After nearly two decades of maintaining pedestrians, the Association of West Bandra (BWRA) surrendered to MMB, which owns land, which owns land.
