New Delhi: The leader of Congress P Chidambaram on Tuesday reached the Covid-19 government vaccination program, sucking his promise to vaccinate all adults at the end of December as “arrogant”.
He said Odisha and Delhi countries faced a lack of vaccines and asked the UNI Health Minister to spell his plan to ensure a regular and unbroken vaccine supply to declare.
“The lack of vaccines is a fact.
Vaccine production is exaggerated.
Vaccine imports are mysteries.
Changing the entire population of adults in December 2021 is empty pride,” he said.
“Will New Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya tell the truth about vaccination programs,” he asked.
In a series of tweets, he said after Odisha, Delhi ran out of vaccines.
“Will the New Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, please tell us how he plans to ensure a regular, adequate and unbroken vaccine supply to the countries,” he said.
The former Union Minister said Odisha had reported that 24 of the 30 districts had run out of vaccines.
“Odisha is regulated by BJD, BJP ally.
What the central government has dismissed the complaint of vaccine is said to be now,” Chidambaram asked.
Congress has criticized the government for his vaccination program which accused him of slow.
