New Delhi: The Ministry of Health Union on Tuesday expressed concern over a severe violation of Norma Covid-19 and said that people treated third wave warnings such as “weather renewal”.
Overcoming press direction, LAV Agarwal, Joint Secretary, the Ministry of Health said about 73.4 percent of the new Covid-19 cases were reported in July from Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Odisha.
He further told him that the central team had been sent to 11 states / UTS including Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Assam amid increasing cases.
“When people talk about the third wave, they think of it as weather renewal and do not understand his seriousness and responsibilities associated with him,” he said.
“Further surge in cases is being recorded in several states, such as, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh.
Similarly, there are several states, where cases go down but are still witnessed in the form of highlands,” he added.

V K Paul said the world witnessed the third wave and we must make efforts to ensure that India did not experience the same thing.
“The world witnesses the third wave.
We must join hands to ensure that the third wave is not about India.
PM today clearly says that we must focus on keeping the third wave in the bay, instead of discussing when it will come in India,” he said.
