Ludhiana: Police Ludhiana Raikot Raikot arrested members of the Board of Congress Baljinder Singh Retak on Tuesday, after his car killed a 13-year-old boy and injured his mother.
Seeta, 40, a resident of Green City, Raikot, along with his son, Nitin Verma, and father, Kundan Lal, has gone to the market on Sunday night.
Kundan Lal said in his police complaint, “Around 9:15 a.m., my daughter, grandchildren and I have been going to the market near the old bus holder.
We walked along the road when a car that quickly hit Seta and Nitin.
Seeta falls on the other side of the road and car Running onto Nitin.
With the help of people who passed, we brought nitin out of the bottom of the car and took him and Seeta to the nearest hospital.
“From there, both were referred to the Dayand Medical College and the hospital, where the boy gave up on the injury on the day Monday.
The condition of Seeta was stated stabilized.
Lal said the members of the Baljin Congress Board Singh Rimpa drove a small car and son with him.
“Rimpian drunk on the wheel.
That is why he speeds up the car and loses control of it,” he added.
Raikot Police Raikot ASI Balwinder Singh said a case was listed under Section 279 (rash driving), 304-A (causing death due to negligence), 337 (causing pain due to acting to endanger the life or personal safety of others) IPC against members of the Rimpa Board, Residents of Teacher Nanak Pura from Raikot.
He has been arrested.
“The medical examination was done to ascertain whether he was drunk or not.
The report was awaited,” ASI added.
