Coimbatore recorded 282 fresh cases, one death

Coimbatore: The district recorded 282 fresh Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, taking the total number of cases to 2,25,617.
With 408 people run out, the number of active cases fell further to 3,779.
The total number of people restored rose to 2,19,730, maintaining the recovery rate at 97.3%.
The district recorded one death because the virus took the victim to 2,108.
The victim was a 65-year-old man, who suffered from diabetes.
With a drive vaccination drive restarted on Monday after nine days, people stood from 3 in front of the school where the vaccine was given.
People instill rain and cold weather for vaccinated.
There are also protests and obstacles by several people after they find the difference in distributing tokens.
On Tuesday morning, nearly around 50 people, who were waiting for tokens, blocked the main road in front of the corporate school in Pealamedu because they believed the token was only because of the fraction of 200 doses allocated.
“We have waited in the rain from 3am and suddenly the organizers told us that the token was over.
They certainly did not distribute 200,” said a protester.
In Elementary School Vadamadurai, the public waiting into the fight with the police.
“Government notice says 500 doses are allocated, but how can they finish distributing it almost 20 or 30 minutes?,” Shouted one protester.
“Token number 50 is hardly given 15 minutes back and they say tokens are over.
They definitely not distribute more than 250 tokens,” said another protester that had been waiting from 3 in the morning.
