Jaipur: A 30-year-old man allegedly stabbed his two daughters and injured himself and his wife after fighting with him in the Ajmer District Rajasthan on Wednesday, police said.
The man, Ajeet Cheeta, is unemployed and suffered depression, they said.
He was also annoyed because he had to do all the housework when his wife had undergone surgery and was currently in bed, police said.
The incident occurred in Beawar Town.
Cheeleta quarreled with his wife Kavita (27) for some problems on Tuesday night.
On Wednesday, he consumed liquor and attacked him with a knife.
When his daughter shouted, he also stabbed them and injured himself, Station House Officer (Sho) Sadar Surendra Singh.
The four rushed to the Beawar Hospital, where Angel (5) and Sanju (7) were declared dead.
Cheeta’s condition and his wife are stable, police said.
