Lucknow: The High Court of Allahabad has provided a large order to non-academic work carried out by the teacher.
The court ruled that the teacher would not be made to carry out non-academic work, quoting the right to education, 2009 and direction had been issued for all district judges in this matter.

Many non-academic works such as midday food distribution, building construction and boundary walls, run school accounts, and assistance in making aadhaar cards are being carried out by the teacher, who will no longer be done.
The court, in its order, said that the teacher could only be employed during disasters, census, and general elections.
The order that the teacher’s duty under the right to the education law, 2009 cannot be imposed on non-education activities.
