CHANDIGARH: Famous Indian sprinter Milkha Singh, who’s tested positive for COVID-19, was on Monday hospitalised, together with his son as well as genius golfer Jeev Milkha Singh stating that the transfer was a preventative action. The 91-year-old Milkha was at home isolation in his Chandigarh home after he tested positive to the virus on Wednesday. He’s been admitted into Fortis hospital at Mohali. Hospital sources said that Milkha’s condition was”secure”. “He’s been hospitalised. He had been feeble and not eating because yesterdayso we needed to hospitalise him. Although his parameters appeared okay, we believed it’s safer to get him confessed he’d be under supervision of senior physicians,” Jeev told PTI. “He’s under great care of physicians there. He’s a strong guy, always confident and will recover soon,” added that the runner, who touched here on Saturday from Dubai after his dad tested positive. Milkha had previously said a few home helps was infected with the virus and his family failed evaluations. “Just I returned confident on Wednesday and I’m surprised,” Milkha’d told PTI after testing positive.
