Chennai: Minister of Tamil Nadu PWD and Highways e Velu on Wednesday said the highway department will take the construction of flyovers throughout the country, especially in very dense cities as directed by Minister of M.
Minister of the Ministry is reviewing the Department Project in Kancheepuram Regency Collectorate with Kancheepuram officials, Tiruvallur and Chengalpet.
“The highways department does not have jurisdiction in Panic Union Roads and Panchayat Roads.
Following the direction of the ministerial head, the Highways Department will strengthen 10,000 km-length streets of Panchayat Union which is identified by district collectors.
The work will be taken in stages in the next five years in the next five years under the nabard scheme, “he said.
