Noida: Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) will monetize parking that is less utilized or not used at various stations.
The company will rent spots at this location for food truck operators to generate income.
NMRC has invited ‘expressions of interest’ (eoi) from vendors to arrange food trucks at various stations.
Each truck will be given an area around 25sqm to arrange its service.
According to NMRC officials, 15 stations have been offered for food, recreational and utility facilities.
Vendors will set their own waste management system and manage costs.
Official release by the Metro service provider said, “NMRC will provide vendors with electricity costs.
Candidate selection will be based on the highest bid.
Bidder must save the processing fee of Rs 10,000 to submit a scheme.
EOI must be delivered on August 6 Vendors will be permitted time for 9am Up to 10:30 to operate a van.
“In January this year, NMRC has stopped providing parking facilities at five stations, including sector 91, Pari Chowk, Sector 101 and Sector 142.
Parking is currently available in Sector 51, 76, Park II knowledge , Alpha I and Delta I.
Station parking for the first six hours for cars at these stations is Rs 20 with an additional Rs 10 per hour and maximum RS 40.
Monthly parking for cars can be used in Rs 800.
Bicycles can be parked for six Watches at Rs 10, additional Rs 5 per hour and maximum level at RS 20.
Monthly fee is Rs 400.
