Patna: The train has started electronic supervision through CCTV cameras in Patna Junction after intelligence input on plans by terror groups to plant explosives running to Bihar.
Additional security forces have been deployed at Patna Junction to maintain a close watch on criminals and passengers.
According to Danalapur Division Railway Manager (DRM) Sunil Kumar, Railways has installed a vehicle scanner in the circulation area of Patna Junction so that train security personnel can easily track the details of the parked vehicle there.
“In addition, the number of CCTV cameras has been upgraded at the end of Mahavir Mandir and the cargahiya tip of Patna Junction,” he said.
“Dog RPF and bomb squads have been pressed to services at Patna Junction during rush hour, especially at night.

According to DRM, the train has decided to install the luggage scanner at Patna Junction, Terminal Rajendra Nagar and Patliputra Junction immediately on the airport pattern.
