Ranchi: The state is set to receive more than 17.5 doses of lakh in the next 15 days, which will be delivered in seven portions.
This happens after the State Health Department urges the center to allocate more doses for Jharkhand because it hardly has a vaccine.
Speaking with Toi, Additional Secretary (Health) Chief Arun Kumar Singh said: “I have followed up with the Secretary of the United Health every day because we face a scarcity of vaccines.

I am grateful that our daily persuasion with the center has paid off and we will now be able to vaccinate around one lakh every day.

On Tuesday, the state received 40,000 doses of covaxin.
