Kathmandu: Nepal’s new government on Thursday recommended President Bidya Devi Bhandari to call a new session of the House of Representatives on July 18, according to the Cabinet Minister.
The cabinet meeting managed by the newly appointed Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba decided to summon the restored house meeting on July 18, Minister of Home Affairs Bal Krishna Khand told reporters.
This will be the first meeting of the Low Council of Parliament after not constitutional dissolved by President Bhandari for the second time in five months on May 22 on the recommendation of the Prime Minister K P Sharma Oil.

A total of 26 members of the UML-owned parliament, close to Madhav Nepal, have supported Deuba when he risked the claim for the Premiership based on Article 76 (5) of the Constitution.
UML has not made a decision about whether to support the government deuba or not.
The party is scheduled to hold a parliamentary meeting on Friday to discuss the meeting of the House of Representatives scheduled for July 18.
UPENDRA YADAV led the Janata Janyjwadi Party faction, which has a total of 32 members of parliament, the possibility of supporting Deuba during the vote of trust.
However, the party, divided between Yadav and Manganta Thakur factions, has not yet announced its decision in this issue officially.
Of the 32 members of parliament, the faction of Thakur-Mahato has 20 members of the temporary parliament of Yadav-Bhattarai have 12 members of parliament.
“Prime Minister Deuba made preparations to take a voice of trust within a few days after the start of the house meeting,” said a leader who was close to Deuba.
The leaders of the NC decision have claimed that Deuba will get a voice of trust.
“We want to ensure a conducive atmosphere for polling trust,” said NC Lawmaker Min Bahadur Bishwakarma.

With the Nepalese fraction of the CPN-UML who decided to cut the relationship with the opposition alliance, Deuba might face a difficult time winning the voice of trust.
The UML parliamentarians, who have become signed in direct petitions demanding that Deuba must be made by the Prime Minister, assuring that their faction will do everything needed to ensure the parliament works for the short term.
