Ahmedabad: Kaseload Covid-19 in Gujarat reached 8.24,384 on Thursday, after 38 people were tested positively on infection in the last 24 hours, officials from the State Ministry of Health.
At least 90 patients were dismissed from the hospital, raising the count of recovery to 8.13,673, while the death toll in the country reached 10,074, without a new victim, the official said.
The recovery rate in Gujarat now stands at 98.7 percent, he said, adding that the state is now abandoned with 637 active cases, where eight patients are in the ventilator.
Union Dadra Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu region reported a new case in the last 24 hours, said an official.
As many as 10,564 cases have been detected in the region so far, where 10,538 patients have recovered and four died of infection, he said, adding that 22 patients underwent treatment.
Until now, the state government has provided 2.87 doses of coronavirus crore vaccine to a qualified population, and from this, 3.86 doses of lakh given during the day.
