Pune: School in Covid-free village started offline classes from Thursday to STD VIII to STD XII.
In Pune District, almost 90 schools in Covid-free villages began to function since Thursday.
Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) issues a notification on Thursday which states that the school within the corporate limits will remain closed until July 31.
Students say that offline classes will provide great concessions because they are in important years and remote learning do not help them understand some of the best concepts they want.
On the other hand, the teacher shows that at first only 50% of students were called to class on alternative days to maintain safety steps.
In some villages, getting permissions needed from Gram Panchayats is a problem.
Middle school education officers in Pune Zilla Parishad (ZP) Sunana Thube said, “The school has prepared to be reopened for one week.
Finally, the school began in the district where permission was given by Gram Panchayat.” Most of the schools in the district have 50% attendance according to government rules.
Sanjay Dhote, a school teacher from Ambegaon Taluka, said, “We start with science today and students are very much to return in class.
There are excitement and anxiety among students.
We plan to complete the main topic while we are allowed to have a class session.
It will be proven to be useful for students.
“Meanwhile, President of the Association of Practice Maharashtra (Mesta), Sanjayrao Tayde Patil, said that nearly 2,000 schools in all states were not given permission by the village sarpanch on safety reasons.
He added, “The approval of parents to send their children to school is enough.
The rules of new permits from the village Gram Panchayat have posed a problem in many schools on the first day.
Rules must be withdrawn, and the approval of parents must be only a condition.” Students appear to study throughout the state more than 300 of 13,000 schools under Nashik ZP have registered to start the class of July 15 but, according to the Ministry of Education, only 49 has confirmed that they will do physical classes on the first day.
SB Deshmukh, President of the Principal Association in Nashik, said, “Teachers and parents in these schools have expressed their readiness to start the physical class with the right safety measures.
Gram Panchayats has also passed the resolution according to the needs of the state government.
“Kishore Patole, the parents in Sinnar Taluka, said,” My daughter was in STD X.
I could not take the opportunity with her education, so I had decided to send it to school.
The government must take the inoculation of the earliest children.
“Secondary education officers Nashik ZP Vaishali Veer said that even though some schools had begun to function, others were waiting for a clear order from the Ministry of Education.
“We are evaluating the number of villages that are free of Covid for at least one month and the data will be presented to the Regional Disaster Management Authority.
Decisions taken by the regency guard minister will be delivered soon,” Veer said.
Bb Chavan, education officer Aurangabad Zilla Parishad, said more than 850 educational institutions from 446 villages in the district were eligible to reopen.
“The remaining schools and junior colleges are also expected to continue their operations after completing the necessary formalities,” he said.
“The exact number of schools and colleges that have continued operations will be ascertained in one or two days.
Also, there is no official word about continuing junior schools and colleges in urban areas, but their staff are asked to take vaccines,” Chavan said.
Sanjay Vaishnav, Principal of Zilla Parishad School in Chincholi Village in Khuldabad Taluka, said 18 of the 35 students attended offline classes on Thursday.
“The joy on the student’s face looks.
We hope for the presence to rise further.
We have tested Covid from all employees and we have ensured the right social distance in the arrangement of seating,” he said.
In Kolhapur District, around 1.55 Lakh students from 940 schools in 137 free Covid villages appeared for physical classes on Thursday.
Kiran Lohar, Head of Department of Secondary Education Kolhapur ZP said the number included ZP schools and private schools.
Next week, 200 more schools are expected to be opened.
